We had the pleasure of attending a great Birthday Party this afternoon where Sarah met one of her "Soul Mates"................................

acted like the other one........her Daddy. This is how her Dad feels about the Yankees.

Hey......now there is one "cool cat".

Look at her shiny satin hat with matching shorts.......what's funny is her sister has the exact same outfit on but the pink version.

I think my Mom started my love of handmade items.

Our neighbor made our matching outfits and a little grandma in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho made our denim purses.........ahhhhhhhhh handmade is great and always unique.

I am still friends with the other fellow lama lovers in this picture.

We have been friends since I was about 4 years old. I hope Sarah is blessed with long friendships in her life. (I am sure she will be)

Summer is here!!!!!

Our favorite part of summer started last night..........................

Sunday Concerts in the park!!!

The concerts are a throwback to what life was like in the 50's ( I am guessing). I love watching all the kids dance to patriotic music. It is also a treat to chat with my girlfriend while the Dad's take over "dancing duty".

Sarah was ready to boogie in her new outfit made by My Little Buttercup.

Yup....summer is here and these concerts are EVERY Sunday until Labor Day!!!

Oh my....

So many blessings......................

Whew, what a fun weekend!!

My sister and her family came to town this weekend and we celebrated.......birthday's, sunshine, family .....and life. I feel so blessed. After watching the Farrah Fawcett special on Friday it really hit home .....we never know how much time we have on this earth. We must live each day fully with love, faith and especially JOY!!

I am thrilled that we moved last month. Our new place makes having company so much easier. We have great neighbors. We have a few Grandma's that live next door and below us that Sarah LOVES visiting. We have some crazy neighbors that keep locking themselves out of their home.....3 times in one week!! I am knitting them both KEY CHAINS.

Well ,today I received one of the sweetest handmade gifts. Tamerie really captured Sarah's spirit in this collage.......she LOVES butterflies, she is always dancing and the crown is perfect!

Back to cupcake class..........

Sarah turned 3 this week and we celebrated today in the park. Steve from Hullabaloo helped the kids get their groove on. Sarah and her buddy helped frost the cupcakes.......(taking after Mommy's love of frosting) . I was going for the dramatic hot pink and orange cupcakes.....which was good......but the cupcake glitter .....Hmmmmmmm.

it tasted HORRIBLE.

When we got home my husband thought maybe I pulled it from the wrong shelf and that it was crafting glitter. Sorry to all that ate them. Martha would be so disappointed .

Live and learn I guess.

We have been so blessed to have such a wonderful group of friends . Since we are only having one child I appreciate the friendship Sarah is sharing with all of you and your sweet kids.

I am getting an early start on Mother's Day.....I am about to break the news to my husband from this moment on I am relaxing until Monday!
