Music and PASSION

After being held up in the house all week due to poor air quality....we ventured out to a play group this week. Here is Sarah playing piano with her little friends. I think the music was too much...........they must have been playing love songs.........we will see how cute all this kissin is in a few years. YIKES!

FIRE!!!!!

San Diego is on Fire!! We are fine but man the air quality is not good. Itchy eyes, sore throats and head aches from all the smoke. We are headed to Mom and Renee's house to let it clear. The picture above is this evening...Sad...Sad...Sad.....but the winds have died down so hopefully tomorrow is better.

We had a wonderful day. Sarah was a little startled when the goat didn't eat like Elmo. Elmo is very quite when he gets waffles shoveled down his mouth in the mornings........oh well......we will make a farm girl out of her yet.

Lazy Sunday

Aren't lazy Sundays the best? We have been enjoying the wonderful San Diego Autumn, which strangely resembles Winter , Spring and part of Summer....Football and Halloween decorations makes it feel like a change in season. Sarah is perching herself on this park bench waiting for doggies to go by. She is such a joy!! Hope you all had a wonderful , lazy, Sunday also.

I hear "Gone with the Wind" music everytime I look at this picture......beautiful , firey, Arizona sunset. We had a great weekend helping my Mom move and watching "the cousins" play. Sarah and Nate are really getting to be good buddies.

Not another TUTU Mommy.

My TUTU model wants a new contract.....she is willing to try on 2 tutu's within a half and hour period as long as we can play a long game of chase in between outfit changes. She is charging extra to have "Noggin Topper" and tutu on at the same time ....... her smiles are generally free but not consistent.

I participated in my second craft fair....not really a huge fair but "craft swap"...it was fun . I got to talk with some mom friends, that are very "crafty", and sell some of my "crafty" stuff at the same time. We are doing it the first Saturday of the month until January at http://www.javamama.com/. It also gives Paul a chance to bond with Sarah for 5 hours ....and give me a break. Bye for now!....Don't think that "Pringles Project " isn't on my list of things to do.....

"OUCH...Larry had nothing to do with it"!

Yesterday was full of "OUCH". This is a picture of the corner that jumped up and smacked Sarah in the face. She was devastated , confused and ANRGY...who wouldn't be...running at full speed, to have a corner jump out and hit you.....that "bad corner". Later in the afternoon we decided after our "OUCH" morning to go to a "Moms and Tot's" support group meeting ....which I may suggest, next time, we add Margaritas and have the husbands pick us up. We were in the room 5 minutes and Sarah smacked her face AGAIN with a mini M & M tube.....I don't know were it came from but I know I didn't enjoy any of the chocolate through this "OUCH". The finale of the play group was a Sarah smashing her fingers in the piano with the help of a terrified little boy......he thought he killed her. Well , we made it through the day and the green marks on Sarah's sweet little face are almost gone....we have had enough "OUCH" for a while.

Kissin Cousins

Great music, fun playground and lots of doggies......the excitement was too much...they had to kiss. This is the stage that it's still really cute to kiss your cousin......we aren't worried yet. The men ( Paul and Matt) spent the weekend fishing in Minnesota.....the gals (Renee, Mom and Me) hung out with the "lovebirds". We had a wonderful weekend in Coronado with the kids but next year we are "fishing" and they get the young-ins for the weekend. I'm pooped...off to bed.
