Father's Day

I love this picture of my Dad with his girls.

This was one of our many car trips.....before DVDs , cellular phones and blackberries......just good old fashion "eye spy" , loud singing and stopping along the way to enjoy the view.

Friday Flashback

Where does time go..........................?

It seems like yesterday when I met these three little girls. They were our neighbors (and became fast friends) the first time we lived in this beautiful little town. Both familes moved away....we moved back......now they are visiting and it is such a joy to watch my little one playing with them. They are growing up to be such lovely , nice young ladies.

Look what arrived on my porch today from Simply Stated Antiques........Anne Marri Soy Candles. I won the blog drawing last week and they arrived today to fill my home with yummyness.....is that a word? I have to say the fudgesicle is my favorite. I want to eat it. They are all wonderful and made my day!!

I also was blessed to receive this beautiful necklace from Rita. This was one of my Pay it Forward gifts. I had not met Rita before getting this lovely charm and I treasure it. How thoughtful of you to make such a special gift....thank you!!

Clubbing

Okay, I tend to go on and on about Sunday evenings in the park.......

but they are just so great!!

My husband and I are past hitting the latest dance clubs ........

so we consider this our "clubbing".

The adorable dress Sarah is wearing was made by a fabulous friend. She made it for Sarah's Birthday and we love it!!! Thanks so much.....do you make adult sizes?

The Bird!!

Okay, a few of you know I am not a huge fan of birds. I know that is a bold statement...."how can you not like birds?" Well, I don't mind looking at them in zoos, cute little vintage cages, books or from a distance......... just not flying around my head . You people that feed seagulls and pigeons..........I think you are crazy.

This little guy was hanging out in our house today. He flew in while I was snoozing on the back patio. I didn't want to freak Sarah out by being hysterical so I very calmly told my husband to handle the situation. The little guy was pretty cute and harmless but I was VERY THRILLED when he was back outside.

I felt so blessed to be a small part of The Sandcastle Siren's event this weekend. Next year I really want to participate in all of the art classes too. I was fortunate (thanks Deb) to be a vendor on Sunday. I got to hang out and sell some tutu's with such talented artists.......I came home so inspired. I am very lucky to have a fabulous Mom that flew over (from Arizona)on short notice so I could do my "tutuing" this weekend. Thanks Mom!!....I also had some fun visitors sporting their Noggin Toppers....Thanks Colleen!!
