I have project ADD

A friend of mine..........you know who you are..........got me hooked of finding fun old luggage. "Why?" you ask (along with my husband). Not sure yet. I thought I needed another project to "halfway finish." I am sure after I spiff them up a bit they would be fun for Sarah to carry her treasures . Has anyone ever painted luggage? How did it turn out........??

Female Friends and Fire!!

Who says you need a man to start a fire? Maybe to "light my fire" but not start a bonfire. It was so much easier than I expected. Last night we had a going away bonfire for a special Mama friend that is moving to Oregon. It was such a fun evening and the beach was perfect.

You will be missed sweet friend!!

Well, Sarah thinks we went camping ......and we DID sleep on the floor ......in a tent.

We took advantage of the Rancho Bernardo Inn Survivor Special. ....19.00 for a lovely room........only drawback

NO BED, No Air conditioning, NO LIGHTS, NO TOWELS

but right by the "lake" and they supplied the tent.

We had a great 24 hours. Lots of swimming, dinner with Daddy and sleeping in our tent. The hotel was beautiful and they were having Christmas in August weekend.....so we were kind of in the "woods" with all the trees. This is my kind of camping with a 3 year old. We will try the other camping next year.

Am I the only one

Am I the only one that buys clothes that will fit me if I loose 5 to 10 pounds

(especially if the article of clothing was a good deal$$)?

I can't get rid of the "if I loose 10 pounds" pants. Why do I do this to myself?

Love of Handmade............Friday Flashback

This is a picture of my sister (she is laughing right now....say "now really Dana did you need to post THAT one").

Look at the fun outfit and the great parted down the middle hair. Check out her handmade doll sitting on the door. She loved that crazy looking guy. I think it is great that it is handmade and one of a kind.

Look who made the trip back from Arizona?

Okay, this doll kind of gives me the creeps. She is a cute doll but something is not right when you look in her eyes. Sorry Mom......I just had to put it out there. Sarah loves her (thanks Mom) so my plans of having her disappear in the middle of the night are out.

If I were to get rid of her I can see her coming back ....

Sarah loved being a "helper" to her cousin all weekend.

They say we visited Arizona on a cool weekend.....only 105 degrees.

We had a great time playing with family.......

lots of hugs, playing in the pools and sharing good laughs.

Sarah LOVES her cousins.

On a side note....there is a lot going on ,health wise, with my Mom's husband ....Dick.....(my StepDad). They could use your prayers.

It just never gets old.........................
