No Puff for this gal!

What is a party without tattoos?
This weekend marked the 100th Birthday of our local library. They had lots of activities for people of all ages. Sarah was very excited for the puppet show.....she sat right up in front.......
"you go sit back there Mommy...I a big girl"
Puff the Magic Dragon popped out. She was having none of Puff . We enjoyed the rest of the show from a distance.

My friend Deb tagged me this morning..............
I am a little late in posting since it is almost time for bed but this was me this morning when I got the tag. Usually I am wearing a headband and yesterday's mascara but this morning I wasn't that bad (could use some lip gloss). I got ready last night knowing we had a early morning appt.......only a few of you have caught me in my scary "headband, turby"....just not today.

Here's the deal: You have to, right now, at this very moment, stop what you are doing and take a picture of yourself. Doesn't matter if you just rolled out of bed. Do it RIGHT now! And then post that picture and tag 5 others.
I am tagging.........Stacia, Tonya, and Danielle.....
(you lucked out I changed mine to 3 people....:)

Pay it Forward

I have decided to join some fellow bloggers, and post the

"Pay It Forward"
challenge on my blog. The first 3 people who leave me a comment (on this post only) will receive a handmade item from me sometime in the next 3 months. Just one day, out of the blue, at no cost to you, a special something will arrive in your mailbox. (Be sure to leave contact info so that I can get your mailing address and a link to wherever you posted your "Pay It Forward Challenge").

The turnabout is that you must choose to participate in this round robin of giving by giving yourself and posting the "Pay It Forward Challenge" on your blog or facebook.

Let's " PAY IT FORWARD "together.

***If you want your special item to go to someone special in place of you just let me know when I contact you and I will get their mailing info then!***

Out & About!!

St. Patricks Day Parades are GREAT!!
(even if it is chilly outside.........)
We are finally over our bug and "out and about" again with friends.

You can see the disappointment
(small tear forming )
on Sarah's face when I told her she couldn't
go out and play in this little boy, 3 month old outfit......
(I gave in but I made her wear a BIG coat!!)

I need more cowbell

Have you ever been in your house for 6 days with a 2 1/2 year old.......??
(with your husband out of town......)
She is getting better and we ventured out today for a little while.
Did us both some good.
I think we will both be back to normal tomorrow.....
what ever "normal" is.
How is "OCTOMOM" going to make it????
**I need more cowbell had nothing to do with this post I just like saying that.

Friday Flashback.....on Saturday...

This Idaho river rock has been passed back and forth between my husband and I for about 9 years. When we were long distance dating I would sneak this rock in his suitcase after a weekend visit and he would do the same when I traveled for meetings (in my past life...). After the "little monkey" was born the rock had to be altered a little bit. Hiding rocks in peoples luggage has gone way back for me...........after my father passed away I found a rock that I painted "I love you Daddy" on when I was about 4 years old. It was in his desk drawer (25 years later).......I can't believe he kept it that long but it was so sweet to find it.
Little gestures like this in relationships mean so much.
Another really sweet gesture was this . I was nursing Sarah's high fever all day yesterday and was surprised by Nancy from The Attic ( one of my favorite stores).
Thank you so much Nancy you really made my day!

(I love this little girl)
This subject contuinues to drive me crazy........."For the love of Pete"......turn off your cell phones during children's reading time at the library........and "for gosh sakes" DON'T ANSWER IT AND HOLD A CONVERSAITON during children's reading time at the library...... whew....just venting........right after this happened yesterday I found myself behind another LOUD TALKER in line at quick stop. She didn't look at the cashier once......RUDE!

I want all these people that talk SUPER LOUD on phones to go here and talk......

I guess I am just old fashion......I might want to be careful though.....YIKES!!
Good thing I ended my day with a once a month Happy Hour meeting!! Thanks for Rambling gave me the idea.

"Off the Wagon"

"TheWagon ......."
Love it....thanks Life Art Photography!!

Adventures on Monday are always exciting..........

my friend at Life Art Photography helped me and another friend out with some pictures of new tutu's and outfits today. It is always funny to get our little girls together and pose in tutu's ( in Old Town full of tourists)....I will post some later. The heat added to the craziness. This was Sarah at the end on the photo session and on the way to the car telling me

"Mama I fall off the wagon".....

kind of looks like it huh......
