What a difference a year makes........

We spent the day at the Carlsbad Flower Fields....again. I just love this place. It is so bright and happy. Lots of elderly people there today so Sarah got to say "hello....have A DAY" (always forgets "good") 100 times. She ate an ant....which I am sure if we would of had syrup with us she would have a bowl of ants......such a funny little monkey! Life is good....no buttons today. I hope you all had a wonderful day!! Thanks for stopping in.

All of these were pushed today!!

I refuse to think that I will experience an entire year of "terrible twos" with Sarah. Possibly a few "entire" days but not a year! "Oh please God not a year......"Sarah was just off course today...........I think it got to me because it was a grocery shop, clean the house, for company ,day. We will try again tomorrow......she ended our evening pushing my "LOVE" button....but she pushed a few that I forgot I had. It made me want to thank my Mom for having put up with some of "those" days with my sister....opps I mean ME!!! (Just Kidding R)

One amazing man....................

My fellow blogger friend Rhonda recommended watching Primetime Live the other night and it was the inspirational story of Randy Pausch.......I just got the book today and can't wait to read it. Thanks Rhonda I know I visited your blog the other night for a reason....

Oh my, my, my....

Okay, I am thrilled that my daughter LOVES the water and is signed up for another round of swim lessons. Here is the problem.....me in a swimsuit all summer. I just hate shopping for these darn things. I always go on the worst days too..... on the days I have permanent sock indentations around my ankles. I am holding out hope that the full body swim suits will become the new rage. Would I look strange as the only mother at the pool in a black wet suite....I like the way it pulls me in...kind of like spanks . I tried shopping today and gave up. Next time I WILL have a "good hair" day, put some lipstick on....possibly a "big PINK flower in my hair" ....oh yeah not eat a cookie before going.

One of our favorite things!!

The Carlsbad Ranch Flower Fields is such a wonderful place to visit if you come to San Diego between March and May. It is 50 acres of bright Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers.....whew what a mouth full. Let's just say big beautiful vibrant flowers. We hope to go back on a sunny day but even if the weather is overcast the flowers a stunning.

Sarah and her cousin sharing those dreaded, yummy....mom can't eat just one.....Pepperidge Farm Goldfish!!

Where have we been hiding?

We just got back from a fun week of visiting family and friends. It was so great to see what neat kids my cousins and friends are raising. Distance has made regular visits hard but getting a chance to spend time with them this past week was long over due and wonderful.

On the flight home I got to sit next to, 80's Hotty, Rick Springfield.......he still looks good and had the patients to put up with Sarah talking for the entire hour. The only thing I could think to mention to him is that he looked good on Oprah a month ago....."oh brother". By the end of the flight I was thrilled to have Hanna Montana stickers all over my face and have Sarah scream
"Mommy....stickers...."

Thanks for stopping in.....hope you are all enjoying this beautiful beginning to Spring.
