We have been talking a lot about Heaven this week. With a heavy heart we said good bye (for now) to my Step Dad Dick. He had a long battle with lung problems and cancer took over his body towards the end. He passed away at home with family and friends.
This has been a little confusing for Sarah but she has been so sweet explaining to people "Dick isn't sick anymore". On our 6 hour drive home from AZ she asked me about Heaven ,curious how we get there, what it looks like ..........but in the same sentence asked me "how many boobies does a pig have?" Leave it to a 3 year old .....
Our time together was too short
I appreciate the happiness and love Dick brought to my Mom and our family.

My condolences to you and your Mother. I read the post on their marriage and you all looked so happy. That Sarah...what are we going to do with her!?? Pig boobies? That made me laugh.

Everyone has loved Sarah's picture on her new pink slipcover! She, as always, does look adorable.
So how many do they have? Aidan's questions last week were about test tube babies. That lead to a talk about all kinds of stuff....I miss simple 3 year old questions!

I too send my condolences to you your mom and your family. I am sorry for your loss. It sounds like Dick was a loving husband and step father and grandfather. I am glad that you have sweet memories of him to warm your hearts.

I am sorry for your loss too. So wonderful that you could be here with your family during such a difficult time. You made a beautiful appearance tonight on the 10 oclock channel 12 news from blissfest with the Nielsons- it was great! Hoping they will post it on their website tomorrow.
