Giving Thanks

I had a tough morning this morning.....nothing major just many little things that were piling up. With my crabby mood in tow and a funny little monkey singing the "la la" song in the back seat we ended up at the beach. I really had to shake myself and be thankful for not only my fun , spirited little duaghter but for living here. I saw so many people getting off the tour bus and having 1 or 2 hours to soak up the beach and I can walk here every day. I am healthy.....I am loved and I am very grateful for my life......it took a tour bus of people to snap me out of my mood today......and I thank them.

YUMMMMM syrup in bed!!

As a few of you know my husband goes to bed early because he gets up early. Well, he just went to bed and I didn't tell him Sarah (or should I say "QUEEN SARAH") had waffles in our bed this morning. I think I will wait to see if the pillowcase is stuck to his head when I go to bed later. This crown thing is new....I think I need to add antennas to it...I like the idea of being a bumble bee, lady bug or butterfly more than a PRINCESS.

Resting

I am getting over a little cold .....so we hung out at the beach this afternoon. After chasing seagulls and gathering 100's of shells we decided to take a little rest. What a great day.......I even forgot about my stuffy nose......

Sarah has the "cheese" part down ...just the wrong direction.....still cute.

Well, Sarah is not a huge fan of life-size Winny the Pooh. We attended Winny the Pooh's birthday party today at the Coronado Public Library and the minute Pooh made his entrance Sarah was waving and saying "Bye Bye Pooh". Pooh wasn't as bad as Santa but close......oh well, we are defently NOT going to Disneyland until this fear for characters is gone. After all the "pooh stress"....we thought we needed to visit the cow that DOESN'T move...............awww......much better.....

Such a HAPPY little girl!!!

We spent this afternoon taking pictures of Sarah in new "Noggin Toppers" for my shop and in cute little onesies for a friend of mines etsy shop (www.breathingbesideus.etsy.com). Deb makes wonderful shabby chic.....vintage inspired cloths. Sarah loved saying "cheese" today . I just had to share this picture......Sarah is such a happy little girl.....her joy for life is very contagious.

Good Bye Fishy Fishy!!

I have been searching for a meaningful New Years resolution.....something special that will make a difference to me, my family and the world.......Okay, maybe a difference in pants size. I have to quit eating these darn fish. This is how it goes "1 for Sarah" ..."1 HANDFUL for ME". Good bye tasty snack....good bye cute little guy....good bye mindless car eating after a play date.........hello fitting in my pants comfortably!!! I will keep you posted on how things progress.

"Rain , rain go away! "

We hunkered down today, watched football (Seattle Seahawks in honor of the rain) and I gave a thankful little nod to the guy upstairs that we live in Coronado. Today reminded me of living in Poulsbo (outside of Seattle). Poulsbo was very green and beautiful but I love being here with the consistantly nice weather. I just remember being 7 months pregnant and missing the "all time rainy days in a row" record by 1 day ....130 days of rain ......yikes!! Sarah did have fun playing with her Daddy in the puddles today.

Friends

Sarah was so excited to see her friends today........I was too!! Note to self....no more tights in the sand. It was so great seeing our friends today after the Christmas break. At this stage in life they grow so fast and a month brings so many fun new changes. We got back from the park and Sarah said "nigh nigh Mama...." Thanks for the fun morning and visiting my blog.
