We just got back from another wonderful Sunday conert in the park. It is so fun to be with friends and watch our kids dance, march, chicken dance, hide and seek, nigh nigh game...........

Now for the "TOOT TOOT" part.........and no it is not all the bran I have been eating. This lovely little girl was in a Wedding recently in one of my tutu's. The entire outfit turned out so cute. My girlfriend makes children's clothes and she made the sweet little shirts and shoes to go with my tutu's. She is about to open her etsy store so I will keep you posted.

Friday Flashback

Two months old vs. Two years old........................time is wizzing by (most of the time). I think I have a love of feet...or maybe just a love of my feet.....? Hmmmmm should check out what that means. Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!!

Back to the grind.......

Here I am back from a fun week of visiting family..........time for unpacking and laundry. Okay, this isn't me..........and I have it pretty easy compared to this woman but my enthusiasm for the tasks looked about the same.

Cousins!!

It has been so fun watching Nate and Sarah play.....they are really good buddies and play so well together. Whew it has been hot though.........ready for San Diego weather......great visit...thanks Mom and Sis!

I think this is the blogging ot texting term for "Friend I Met In Person"...?

Well, when Rhonda said she was going to be in Arizona and "does anyone want to meet in person...?" I jumped at the chance. Tonight was the night and I could have stayed and chatted with her all night long. She is as funny, warm and friendly as she is on her blog. I felt like we had known eachother forever. I also had the chance to meet her WONDERFUL children.......what a treat.

Blogging has been such a fantasic outlet as a "Stay at Home ...Tutu Making Mom" and meeting Rhonda this evening was so special. Can't wait to vist her on the East coast very soon and Sarah will be delighted to meet and share a big bowl of syrup with Elijah..........

HOT !!!!

We hopped on a plane yesterday to visit family in Arizona.....................whew.....it is hot. All Sarah could say getting off the plane is "oh Mama et es ot"......"IT IS HOT!!" Hope you are having a good day!!

I love watching Sarah interact with her peers....especially when an inside two year old joke is being told.

Olympics

In honor of the Olympic Games we spent the entire morning swimming.......okay, maybe it was to wear Sarah out so she will take a good nap......but she has enjoyed watching the swimming.

Cross you fingers that Mommy and Daddy win the the Gold today in NAPPING!!!

Friday Flashback

I always will remember August 2005 as being one of my (our) happiest months.......this was the month we found out our IVF journey had worked. I know many of you have had fertility journeys or are on one right now......it is a wild ride. All the shots, drugs, mood swings, bloating, blood draws........how blessed we were to have it all work. This is Sarah's earliest baby picture................crazy huh?

Mama's night out!!

I feel so lucky to have made such a wonderful group of friends here in the Southern California area. We try and get out once a month WITHOUT kids.......tonight was the night and it was great. My batteries are charged. It is so important to have "me " time.....Thanks to all of you for your friendship and being my safety net!!

We know how to party!!!!

We have this party thing down.........lots of Sarah's little buds are having Birthdays this summer and we have been enjoying all the fun parties!!! Cupcakes......FROSTING........swimming, bouncing, dancing.....so fun to see everyone growing up.........but SLOW DOWN!!!

Friday Flashback

Aren't pets great!!! This was our dog growing up......Smitty. We used to dress him up, hold him like a baby and walk around the neighborhood. I am sure a dog is in our future .....I am hoping to get my "child" potty trained first and go from there. Smitty was 18 years old when he passed away.........this was his lounge singer look....red wig and silver dress.......ahhhhh so patient!
