Mom jeans will make a come back? I know that they make butts look really long and wide but the trade off would be less muffin top/ cup cake. I am just thinking if we all ban together and start wearing them maybe they will be cool again ? Let me know if you are in......

The great thing about those old jeans is they kept my belly from hanging over top! I'm all for it!
I am wearing mine right now. No more muffin top...No more muffin top!
If you find them, you'd better let us all know.
You obviously haven't been to Wyoming, Montana or Colorado lately......they are still all the rage :)
You are too funny Ashley!!
Yours look HOT Stacia!!
Hey...leggings and long sweaters are back...let's not push our luck!
Love ya,
Sue
oh dana, I knew if I logged on to check your blog I'd get a laugh...I lOVE the long butt look! ha ha!! add a nice belt, bodysuit and boot shoes and we're ready for a night on the town!!! :)
you girls are too funny. I thought I was too tired to laugh but apparently not! I say no to the long butt jeans. long butts are not cool.
GAP still carries these...and they actually call them "mom jeans" - ha ha! I know this ONLY because a woman in Sweden was desperate to replace her "mom jeans" and I did the research for her a few years ago. I had to directly ask for them, though. As you know, they aren't on display, not being popular with the midriff-baring crowd. ;-)
I'd try them if you think they'd make me look taller. Perhaps I need to go ask at GAP!
I WISH! I am severely short-waisted, so this style of jeans ends up being well above my belly button, all said and done.
BTW, those ones in the photo are pretty much what all the girls wore growing up, back home, in Kansas...more "cowgirl" style. They wear well with a pair of ropers or other cowboy boots. I actually used to wear them (back in the day)! Yeehaw!
You silly girl!
You don't have a Muffin Top!! You are perfect!
XOXO Deb
LOL!
Well, I don't know Dana, after this weekend, I think you would fit right in with the girls in your Jazzersize class that came by the booth. They all seemed to sport the "mom jean."
I say wear them! I won't laugh, well not so you can see at least.
I actually have a few pairs. I found them at Mervyn's (which is closing now) but you can also get them online. And of course, I'm not wearing them and can't remeber who makes them.
