I may just wake up tomorrow morning to a house full of puppies playing around cases of syrup..

Don't look now

.....soon we will be hanging ornaments on trees and shoveling snow.......oh yeah I live in San Diego.....scratch the snow part. I just can't get over how fast time goes. A few of my friends have talked about time. One would like to freeze everyone else and catch up on her projects (I vote for that one too) the other one had a great quote talking about raising kids "days are long days but the years are short"....so true .

" Miss Sarah Syrup" goes to a babysitter on Wednesdays for 3 hours...I think on that day my husband should take this computer with him to work......too much TIME is sucked through this screen......but I LOVE IT. Well , it is "Time" to go wash the syrup out of Miss Sarah's sheets.....that little sneak.

I am so blessed to have these women ( and their famlies) in our life.

Does anyone else keep this kind of #*^% for the next art project they are going to do with their kids? I know the minute I throw these in the recycle bin we are going to need to make a long tube for matchbox cars to go through.............this is how my brain works.

Friday Flashback

Ahhhhh.....I am too exhausted to write today, but I am trying to stay consistent with my flashbacks. The recent picture is from my sister's baby shower last week.......she has just a few weeks to go......we seem to have similar tastes in neck ware.

I have been wanting to post about the Neilson's for a while now but have been a bit intimidated by the great writers they have in their family and not telling the story with the right tone.

Nie Nie has embedded in my heart........every time I start to get annoyed with the little things in my life I think Nie Nie. Reading her blog (and her sisters blog) has made me a better Mother and Wife. Once you read the Nie Nie Dialogs you will be filled with the joy that Stephanie puts into everyday living and the love she has being a mother (of 4). I attended one of the many fundraisers....Blissfest.... this past Saturday and you could feel Stephanie and Christian amongst the crowd. Please visit their site and pray for their healing.

I am "Tutu Monkeying" around 3 local craft fairs before Christmas and I will be selling special Nie Nie Hand Wands in her honor and all proceeds from each handwand purchase, either in person or on my etsy site ,will be donated to thier recovery fund.

We are home from our Arizona Adventure.......I could have titled this "Nate and Sarah's fantastic week" . Sarah was great on both flights ( hour flight time....easy). While in the airport she got a few business men to get off their phones so she could share the contents of her Elmo backpack with them.........they were so kind to be excited about the rock, toy zebra box, slinky, small horse, bunny with no ear, tiny baby comb, tiny baby cup.....................(reminded me of the Forest Gump movie of the guy talking about shrimp....Sarah just kept pulling out little trinkets)

We had a wonderful trip.......I will post later about a few of our outings but thought I would show the sweetest picture ever of my nephew hugging his Mama's tummy. Won't be long..(tick ...tock) and my sister's new little girl will be here. We can't wait. Thanks for the special week.

We are so fortunate to live in this great city............and have such Fabulous Friends!!

Our friend Alliegator turned 3 this weekend !! We helped celebrate by having breakfast with our favorite red guy, Elmo! Lots of love with her buddy Caityn for the furry red friend! This was our second time having a meal with the Sesame Street gang and Sarah was over the top with excitement!!!! After breakfast we hung out with Shamu. This is the best city to have toddlers......endless things to do. ( our family got a 2 hour nap....all of us......yahoo)

It's official......

Fall is here.......We had a wonderful morning at Bates Nut Farm.....which I kept calling "Nate's Butt Farm"...the dyslexia kicking in.

Here is Sarah and her buddy Ella enjoying pumpkin hunting, train rides, sides with Daddy and a picnic lunch. Next time we sit on bales of hay we will wear our jeans.....

Friday Flashback

My husband isn't thrilled to be topics of posts .....he STILL doesn't get this "whole blogging thing." I thought I would go back about 9 years or so to the year we first met. We met at "The Lighthouse" restaurant in Mexico. .......it was such an appropriate place to meet since we were both floating around in the dark when it came to relationships. ...This picture was taken about 3 months in to our new relationship......Ahhhhh fun to look back .

Ouch!!

Here is Sarah doing a dramatic reenactment of her fall at the Zoo today. At the time it sounded much worse than it was (her bumping her head). I was glad to have girlfriends with me to support my site of Sarah's first blood. She is fine ....I am sure we will have many more bumps but the first ones are hard to see.....and hear.

Have you met

this little girl?.......She doesn't visit very often but when she does watch out!! She often pops up in grocery stores or when it comes time to leave a party.

I couldn't pass up posting this "devilish" Sarah picture since 99% of the time I post "angelic" Sarah pictures..........As many of you know I am an ETSY shopper and these fun horns came from Cyber Industries. They will be fun to wear for Halloween.....or the next time I take Sarah to the grocery store.

I love this picture of me........happy......my big white underpants showing.......probably just got done with my fourth frosted animal cookie with sprinkles on it. I am about the age Sarah is right now. I don't have any memory of this picture but I can only imagine the mischief I was getting into...........
