Hitting the beach again.......

The thing I have noticed since I started blogging is we seem to go to the beach quite a bit......Sarah is definitely a beach girl.....possibly a surfer girl too. Hopefully, these movies are about nice beach girls....I didn't see either of them...........I can bet that Annette's movie is pretty clean. We are lucky to live so close to the beach that we can take a walk (or drive or Woody)and get a quick hour of good "sand castle" time in.

What a great photo. How do you think to do things like that. I have no imagination when it comes to taking blog worthy photos like you do.

Hope you had a great time at the beach.

I am a beach lover too. Back in the old days (1960's)my best friend and I used to walk to the beach every day but Sunday all summer long while our moms were at work. We never thought about it being unsafe. We played in the waves, flirted with boys (I was cuter back then) and played cards. We never worried about getting skin cancer and we cooked ourselves... the darker we got the better. Those were the good ole days.

Now we live a ways away and I don't get to the beach often... but when I do the sights and the smells and the sound of the waves bring back wonderful memories.

I'm glad that you live close and can enjoy the beautiful beach often. It is one of my very favorite places.

What a fun blog....and if I could live anywhere, it would be by the ocean (beach also). I love the ocean...calm sometimes, turbulent other times, just like life. One of my fondest memories is going to Oregon and staying at a B&B right on the ocean. My husband and I would walk down to the beach at sunset and just sit. At my age, these are the wonderful memories that I can draw on. Thanks much. and drop by and visit me sometime. I am getting kind of lazy at posting with summer though.

I too remember many trips to San Diego and the beach! Like mentioned before here in the comments... the sights and smells bring back wonderful memories.

You are a lucky gal to live so close. Enjoy the time with little Sarah. She is adorable.
