Another wonderful weekend

Our friends from Ireland arrived this weekend and we had a wonderful time getting reacquainted and introduced to their newest addition Lily (2 1/2). (Wouldn't you die to have those curls.) Sarah was quite taken with Harry (9) She thought he was pretty cool and spent the afternoon following him around like a puppy. Many thanks to Harry for entertaining 2 funny little 2 year old girls while we enjoyed dinner overlooking San Diego Bay.

Sunday, Fathers Day, was a relaxing day that ended with our weekly Coronado Sunday Concerts in the Park. Every Sunday I feel like I am thrown back to the 1950's ..... families having dinner together , band music, kids playing, friends visiting ........dogs lounging.....just a fantastic way to end a week. All was perfect ....except for the Celtics loosing in game 5 but now we have another game to look forward to. These men from Boston take their Boston teams seriously.......

Hey, more Celtics fans! Yay! Of course, that game last night was not worth staying up for... I can't do midnights anymore, getting old.

Glad you had a nice Father's Day, and so nice for you to have friends in town! Enjoy!

What a great weekend. How nice to have a visit from far away friends.

I love Coronado Island. My friend, Sil and I love to take the ferry over to the island and have lunch. I didn't know they had Sunday concerts. Maybe I can go one day.

Thanks for dropping by on your busy weekend. I loved having you for cyberbreakfast.

I still haven't made it to any of the Sunday concerts yet this year. Maybe once Randy leaves I will brave it with the 2 monkeys. I have loved going to those over the past few years, it's such a great atmosphere.

Hey Tonya....we can help watch the 2 monkeys..:) Paul always goes so we will have his extra eyes (and chasing skills) and once the music starts the dancing usually begins for the little ones. Join us!!!

Thank you...it took a little while to figure out what to say other than WAITING...so I did good then! :)

We are suppose to be stationed over in Coronado when Roy gets back, end of July. He is checking into housing, though I am not sure what is exactly going on yet. I won't find out until he actually gets home, I'm sure! I have lived in CA for 20 years now and think I have been to Coronado a total of 3 times! :)I have my fingers crossed that it's where we wind up! I might turn into a CA girl after all! :)

Your daughter is precious!

THE CELTICS WON!!! WOO HOO!!!

Ok, question...why does it look like the kiddo is holding a cigarette in pic number 2?

Do you advocate smoking in the very young? :)
